This startup is working on solving the challenges faced by the highly unorganized transport industry

Did you know? Transport Industry that largely supports India’s economy is also a major source of employment to more than 25 million people. People have food on their plate and shops have all the essential necessities owing to the Transport Industry. Yet, it is disturbing to see the industry dwindling at the mercy of a highly unorganized infrastructure.

Let us introduce to you a startup from Ahmedabad, Bhuvan Care Services Pvt. Ltd. which is working on providing effective and sustaining solutions to the challenges faced by this highly unorganized transport industry. To know more about the startup, we recently caught up with its Chief Credibility Officer, Divyang Adawadkar.

MV: Tell us a bit about your company?

Divyang: It is a social startup working for betterment of life of marginalized communities. The company’s first product is Driver Bandhu. Driver Bandhu strongly believes that the Indian Economy is standing on its feet solely because of the Drivers and the Enterprises taking care of these drivers. A mere digital storehouse of driver database will not do justice to the comprehensive paperwork hassle an Enterprise needs to take care of on a daily basis.

He particularly mentioned that, “Driver Bandhu is an application that not just stores Drivers’ data in one place but also tracks & manages drivers’ trips and aids in digital documentation of all relevant documents like licenses, Identity Cards, PUCs, RCs, etc. It also goes another few steps ahead by helping Enterprises manage their day to day expenses in an organized and scientific manner.”

Driver Bandhu cares. For the country. For the Enterprises. For the drivers. Which is why Driver Bandhu has come up with a systemic solution that will help in making the Transport Industry efficient, reliable and cost-effective. One step at a time.

MV: How did you come up with this idea and why this name?

Divyang: We have closely seen the life of marginalized communities people and also witnessed how the entire family shatters when anything happens to the sole earning person. This has generated the insight to do something for them. The idea was conceived by one of the Directors Mr. Bhuvaneshwar Yadav, so company was named on him i.e. Bhuvan Care Services Pvt. Ltd. and our tagline is “Care is above all”.

Care is a passion of Divya Kumar (another key team member) and I as well, so we have also joined hands for this noble cause. Since our first product is specially designed for professional or employed Drivers, so it is named as a Driver Bandhu (A close friend of Driver) and product tagline is “Har mod ka saathi” meaning we are there with you at each and every problem of your life.

MV: Who is your target audience and how do you reach them?

Divyang: Our target audience is all marginalized communities people across India. We have developed a mobile application for seamless delivery of our services. We are available on all major social media platforms.

MV: What is your business model? Any stats that you would like to share?

Divyang: Our business model is to connect all stakeholders and bring them to a common platform for seamless services.

MV: How difficult was it for you to get started?

Divyang: It was really very difficult to make people believe especially when you are working for a cause. And trust me people who have believed in us will see a different India soon, since our product will change life of millions of people.
