Here's how UNIQLO captured 35,000 customers for its new product!
The Viral HEATTECH Campaign

UNIQLO, already well-known for its innovative clothing, wanted to educate Australians about its HEATTECH range- a unique fabric designed to transform moisture into heat, keeping wearers warm without the bulk.
But how do you engage consumers with a technology that, for the most part, is invisible? UNIQLO answered this challenge with a sense of fun and intrigue.
UNIQLO installed digital billboards in over 100 high footfall locations, flashing unique codes at such a rapid speed that they were difficult to see through the naked eye.
Shoppers could take photos of these fast-moving images, upload the code to a dedicated website and claim rewards such as free t-shirts or discount vouchers. Through the campaign, consumers were guided through a digital journey where they learned about HEATTECH’s benefits.

According to ShortyAwards, the results were nothing short of impressive:
The campaign videos garnered 1.3 million views.
Over 25,000 new subscribers signed up for the UNIQLO newsletter.
It reached more than four million people and brought in 35,000 new customers.
Most importantly, the campaign generated significant buzz both online and in-store, boosting consumer interest in the HEATTECH range.
