Shot #33: The SEO Checklist
Hi,
This shot is the summary of Brian Dean's post (Brian is a renowned SEO champ) - We learned this about SEO after analyzing 11.8 million Google search resultsThis is sort of a checklist that you can use to get a clear understanding of where you need to spend your energy related to ranking better for keywords.1. the #1 result in Google has an average of 3.8x more backlinks than positions #2-#102. Getting backlinks from multiple different sites appear to be important for SEO3. Page authority (as measured by Ahrefs URL Rating) weakly correlates with rankings4. The average Google first page result contains 1,447 words5. Schema markup does not correlate with higher rankings.6. HTML page size does not have any correlation with rankings. In other words, heavy pages have the same chance to rank as light pages. It's difficult to summarize the post. I strongly recommend that you read this in-depth post here.
