Heโs also the CMO at COPY. AI
Recently, Blake shared a thread on Twitter describing how he grew his email list to 10X ๐
Step 1: Create an asset that your target audience would love to have.
Examples:
Interactive calculator ๐
Ebook/infographics/checklists/design templates ๐
Your content/social media strategy ๐
Free online course๐
Step 2: Set up a simple landing page
Explain what the asset is and why it is useful. Optimise your landing page for speed.

Step 3: Spread the word using LinkedIn
Make a post that:
1. Asks if you want to own a useful asset.
2. Tells the "why" behind making it
3. Invites them to "steal" it
Hereโs the copy Blake used:
"Wanna steal my entire online strategy? I have a 1-slider that details it all out. I've spent years refining my content strategy. I've tested SO many different things. I've whiffed on a LOT of them. And now? Reply to this post with STEAL and I'll DM it to you"
And when the users comment, simply DM the landing page link to them.
(You can replicate a similar strategy for Twitter if youโre active on the platform. Here you should optimise for Retweets. Instead of asking them to comment you can ask the users to Retweet if they want the asset)
Step 4: Repeat
When you have another valuable piece of content, try this again. Generate intrigue by only releasing it through DMs.
