You’re tired, it’s been a long day, and you’re hungry. The easiest thing to do is tap a few buttons on your phone and order in. But when the food arrives… it’s a mess. The burger is falling apart, the pizza is upside down.

It’s frustrating and also kind of funny. Knorr decided to focus on this with a campaign.

Back in February, Knorr launched a OOH campaign across the US that called out the not-so-pretty side of food delivery.

Real photos of takeaway fails were plastered across billboards. Burgers all over the place, squashed tacos, toppled pizzas. And the line that brought it all together?

“You can deliver better.”

Cheeky, honest, and a bit provocative. But here’s the clever part, it wasn’t just about making fun of bad delivery.

Knorr used this campaign to gently remind people that home-cooked meals don’t have to be difficult and they almost always turn out better.

To take it further, they launched a social media push.

People were invited to share their own food delivery horror stories on Instagram and TikTok using #DeliverBetter, with the chance to win a $50 supermarket voucher.

And if you visited their website, you’d find quick recipes and fast food alternatives you could easily make at home using Knorr products.
